From Weary To Winning

Jesus can take you:

From fading to favored
From hindered to helped
From stretched to strengthened
From weary to winning

Are you ready?

Check out Matthew 11:28-30

Heaven’s Gift Is Here!

It came upon a midnight clear

The King was born, foretold for years

The stars they shone, God’s love drew near

Heaven’s gift is here!

The great I AM came down to man

Immanuel, God’s perfect plan

The angels cheered, as He appeared

Heaven’s gift is here!

He lived, He died, He rose again

The Lamb of God to take our sins

Devils trembled with such fear

Heaven’s gift is here!

Ascending up to take His throne

All power in heav’n and earth His own

On Pentecost, He again drew near

Heaven’s gift is here!

It will come once more on a midnight clear

The King returns, foretold for years

His bride will rise, she’s all prepared

Heaven’s gift is here!

From Troubled To Trusting

From Panic To Peace

And The Peace Of God_JoyOnTheJourney_

From panic to peace

Through the power of prayer

To a heart that believes

In the face of despair

Rising with faith

To cast down every fear

For the one trusting in God

Vict’ry is there!

Mediterranean Power Bowl

Power-Bowl_Med-Diet Add a little joy to your journey with a delicious, nutritious power bowl.

What’s not to like?

This one contains organic Polenta, seasoned with red pepper flakes, tumeric, basil, cilantro, salt and black pepper, and sauteed in olive oil to crisp it up and give it a nice texture.
To the pan I added some black olives and a variety of chopped vegetables, rounding off with some fish for protein.
Finished with a small dish of fruit and yogurt and – boom! – on a nutrition high for the afternoon!

Food like this is full of healthy vitamins, antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory components. Besides that it is “bowl-scrapingly delicious”!

Do you have a favorite power bowl you make? I’d love to hear your faves, and/or snap a picture and put it in the comments below.

For now, may you have blessings abundant and joy on your journey!

The Quiet Beauty Of Winter

First snow of the season,

Maybe the last,

Either way we’ll survive,

This cold winter blast.

With a fire in the fireplace,

Hot chocolate, and all,

We’ll stay cozy and warm,

And watch snow gently fall.

It won’t last forever,

Perhaps gone in a day,

But for now quiet beauty,

Blankets our way.
